Russian authorities are preparing support measures for Russian game developers

Not so long ago, as part of the SPIEF-2022 event, representatives of the Russian government met with employees of the domestic gaming industry. The meeting discussed issues related to the development of Russian gaming in the face of massive bans and sanctions. At that time, representatives of companies and independent developers complained about the inaccessibility of international platforms, which prompted the authorities to develop a set of support measures.

In particular, in the near future, companies from Russia will be provided with tax incentives and other concessions that are designed to stimulate the development of this area. Grants and subsidies will also be allocated to organizations, which will allow them to develop better projects.

Moreover, it is likely that when the game goes on sale in the Russian RuStore, NashStore and RuMarket stores, the development company will not pay a commission. However, this issue is still under consideration.
