This new mod will help Skyrim gamers reach new heights.
After 11 years, a modder added working stairs to Skyrim because Bethesda didn't.

Skyrim players are enjoying the new mod that allows them to climb and descend stairs. It doesn't sound so epic, but it actually means a lot to the community.

As stated on the Skyrim subreddit , the new mod allows players to climb stairs. From a technical point of view, Everglaid's Animated Traversal mod not only allows the hero to climb stairs, but also adds new animations that allow you to jump over walls, dive under obstacles, squeeze through narrow places, climb ledges, etc.

According to the description from the mod's page on the Nexus site, once installed, the mod adds commands such as "climb" (whenever there is room for further movement). The developer's idea is that the game would stop "ignoring the basic elements of a platformer, and the mod would help complicate the level design, which would add non-linearity." Obviously, the creator of the mod was inspired by Resident Evil. However, the mod does not add "dynamic climbing systems" like Tomb Raider or Cyberpunk 2077 .
