Rockstar intends to exceed the expectations of the players from GTA 6

The company casually mentioned its next game.
Rockstar intends to exceed the expectations of the players from GTA 6

According to Rockstar, Grand Theft Auto 6 should "exceed player expectations".

At the end of last week, the studio announced that it was stopping work on Red Dead Online, as it was redirecting resources to the creation of GTA 6. This moment was overlooked: PushSquare was the first to respond to the words about the future game.

Over the past few years, we have steadily directed more resources towards the development of the next installment in the Grand Theft Auto series. More than ever, we understand the need to exceed player expectations and make the next game the best it can be.

This is the only time Rockstar has commented on a new game in the GTA series since it was first announced earlier this year. It turns out that with these words, Rockstar actually announced a new game, pointing to it in a message on Rockstar Newswire.

Apparently, Red Dead Online isn't the only casualty of Rockstar's new push to focus entirely on GTA 6. Last week, a report said that Red Dead Redemption and GTA 4 remasters had been delayed so the company could focus on developing GTA 6.
