It looks like EA is developing a Black Panther video game in which users will have to try on the role of a new masked hero.
The inside news was shared by Giant Bomb's Jeff Grubb during his Game Mess Mornings podcast, in which he stated that Black Panther is currently in early development. The code name for the game inside the studio is Project Rainier. The action is being developed by a brand new studio led by former Monolith Productions head Kevin Stevens.
It will be an open world game in which users control the new Black Panther after the death of the previous superhero. There are few other details, but for sure it will be a single-player game, so EA will move away from its latest addictions to online services.
If so, then you and I are waiting for the first game entirely dedicated to the Black Panther. But this isn't the first time the hero has appeared in a video game. Last year, Black Panther became part of the troubled Marvel's Avengers. Prior to this, the character appeared in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3.
