Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic remake announced

This night was the PlayStation Showcase, where many new titles were announced. One of the brightest stars of the show was the remake of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic . The game will first be released for PlayStation 5 and PC.

Aspyr, Lucasfilm Games and Sony spoke in more detail about the target platforms. Apparently, after the release on PS5 and PC, the game will definitely look at other platforms. Of course, this also applies to the Xbox Series X. This will happen after the end of the exclusivity window. In this case, it was not the game itself that was called exclusive, but its “release among consoles”.

Following the conclusion of the PlayStation Showcase, Aspyr Lead Producer Ryan Treadwell gave an interview in which he described the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic remake as a major overhaul while "keeping what gamers loved about the original". Aspyr has also enlisted the support of other industry veteran RPG creators to staff the best possible for this massive project.
