During the PlayStation Showcase, they announced a new action game from Insomniac Games in the Marvel universe. This time, eminent developers will tell the story of Wolverine in the Marvel's Wolverine title.
The teaser trailer shown at the show was short, although we did see a muscular silhouette in a plaid shirt sitting at the counter of a ruined bar. As a potential enemy crept up on the figure, the camera quickly panned to a fist from which metal claws erupted.
The announcement came as a major surprise to the show, as Insomniac, who previously developed Marvel's Spider-Man and Spider-Man: Miles Morales, has already announced work on Marvel's Spider-Man 2 with Peter Parker, Miles Morales, and the Venom symbiote. The team is showing impressively fast work as it just released the spin-off Spider-Man: Miles Morales just last year and Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart this year. And, it should be noted, this does not harm the quality of projects.
A release date for Marvel's Wolverine remains unknown.
An incredible success for the studio's debut project.
In short, the company is aware of the problem and is solving it.
It will be an animated prequel series.
