The creative director of the racing game Gran Turismo 7 Kazunori Yamauchi revealed new details.
In an interview with Eurogamer, Yamauchi shared a number of new details about the upcoming racing game. First, Gran Turismo 7 will include cross-platform support between the PS4 and PS5 versions. Recall that we learned about the existence of the first only at the beginning of this year, although initially the game was positioned as an exclusive for PS4.
In addition, Gran Turismo 7 boasts real-time (pardon the tautology) weather and time of day simulation on both consoles. This means that right during the race you will be able to see how the weather cycles and time of day change (for example, you start in the morning and finish in the afternoon or even in the evening).
Next, if you liked GT Sport, then we have good news for you! Yamauchi reported that Gran Turismo 7 has improved the physical damage of cars compared to the previous game. In addition, features from past Gran Turismos will return, although the game director did not disclose the details.
Gran Turismo 7 is scheduled to release on March 4, 2022 , although the game was originally scheduled for release earlier this year. This is due to the pandemic.
