According to information from the portal Windows Central, very soon will be available "playable alpha version" role-playing game Avowed , developed by Obsidian.
The report was published three days ago, on October 11, on the Windows Central website. It states that development is going pretty well and the project is in pre-production for a playable alpha build. At the same time, the developers managed to implement many mechanics and basic elements.
Additionally, Avowed is said to feature multiple classes and playstyles so players can experiment. The game intentionally borrows from Skyrim the use of two-handed melee weapons. Players will be able to wield two spells at the same time, so they can be combined with one-handed, two-handed weapons or a bow.
Also, Windows Central claims to have already seen working footage of Avowed's gameplay and states that the game is not as similar to The Elder Scrolls as many users might think. Warriors will have access to more physical attacks, including powerful kicks and shields, while magical classes will be able to use more powerful spells and an expanded range of magical attacks.
Finally, the report says that Avowed will be heading to E3 2022, though there's a small chance the game could be shown towards the end of the year at a major event. For example, at The Game Awards in December, along with another Xbox exclusive, Hellblade 2.
The project is codenamed Half-Life X.
