Before the official release of the cooperative shooter Redfall, the developers from the Arkane studio promised to make this project the longest-running in terms of support. However, apparently, the failure of the game forced the team to abandon their plans because of their irrationality.
In the past, the Arkane team released mostly story-driven role-playing games, while this shooter was supposed to be a service game. After it became clear that the attempt failed, the team's activity in all resources dropped to zero, so, apparently, Redfall will no longer receive any updates. Everything that has been released for the game since its release has been limited to technical patches that have failed to attract at least some attention to this despondency of the gaming audience.
It remains to wait for the official announcements of the shutdown of the Redfall servers, which make no sense to keep active due to the lack of demand for the project.
An incredible success for the studio's debut project.
In short, the company is aware of the problem and is solving it.
