Why is it worth playing World of Tanks in 2023?

The latest titles seem to hint that it’s time for WoT to leave the throne, but it is not going to do this. We'll tell you why you can still try playing WoT.

REASON TWO BIG ONLINE

There are games in 2023 that came out, attracted a lot of online attention, and then somehow faded away. This is not about World of Tanks. You can find out how many users are registered and how many are actually playing.

They know very well which tanks are worth downloading and which ones you can just “fan off” with. They create clans and help newcomers.

Beginners treat experienced players with respect, and the “old men” help their young brothers in every possible way. There are cases when people met in World of Tanks and became good friends in real life. They even united and became friends in whole groups. What can we say if tournaments are regularly held in the game, where already formed teams of semi-professionals or real pro players compete, who must trust each other’s backs in the game, and this already means a lot.

REASON FOUR: IT WILL NOT BE BORED

HERE can be praised for the fact that inside there is a near-historical t??matics. It is not as deep as you might want, but what is available is enough. There are a huge number of tanks. Tanks are divided into classes. Classes perform specific roles. It follows from this that each player on a certain type of technique has his own tasks.

• The player will have to explore different models of equipment, but do not forget about the characteristics of tanks from different countries. Sooner or later you will have to admit that at levels 6-9 the heavy tanks of the USSR are too strong, but they have weaknesses. That American heavyweights are also good, but for some reason they are much less common in the public.
• After studying one branch of heavy tanks, you wonder why few people play medium tanks? And why do they even exist? What role do they play? — At this point, the player gets acquainted with tactics and correct roleplaying, which still needs to be implemented.

And these are just two examples with different types of tanks, but there are also tank destroyers that rarely go into the heat of battle, tank with a powerful forehead, but not all of them, however, cause huge damage over the entire session. There are self-propelled guns that are very much disliked, but they are incredibly important in every match. There are light tanksThey often crumble after one hit, because they always “cut the psaltery,” but with them you can find out the location of enemy tanks. There are also medium tanks that can easily take the flank if the whole team is communicating and trying to win.

Varieties of tanks, their protection and damage indicators, speed and turret rotation - all this needs to be studied and used correctly. If it works out, then losses will become rare, even if the team was caught “not very well.”

REASON FIVE: GAMING SESSIONS

It is easiest to learn if theory comes immediately after practice. Or if there is little theory, but a lot of practice. Or... in general, tanks have theory and a lot of practice, which reinforces the material, asks you to study again and reinforces it again.

Each gaming session lasts about 15 minutes. I went in, understood where to go, shot, got hit, or punished a whole crowd of enemies and sent them off to look for the next match. In any case, I got the necessary skill to destroy or find shelter. It will be easier to play next time.

Because of the session nature, WOT was disliked at one time, because the game asks to be played “all the time.” However, this is a choicer each. If you like tanks, like to play in a team and destroy your opponent with tactics rather than donations, then World of Tanks is an ideal option for three-player gaming. In addition, the developers constantly update the game, add something new and do not forget about the loyal fans.
