Studio ZA/UM, which created Disco Elysium, has a vacancy for a screenwriter who will participate in the creation of a new game. Among the main requirements for the candidate is the ability to work with a branching system of dialogues, but, as the developers say, work experience is not required.
Also, the applicant must tell what elements in Disco Elysium (idea, character, location, game system, etc.) were not fully disclosed and how the scriptwriter would supplement the game.
The intentions of the ZA/UM studio are not entirely clear at the moment. Earlier, in March 2021, the developers noted that it would be unwise for them to leave such a deep and thoughtful world as Elysium. Apparently, we are talking about a continuation of the original, so at some point we will witness the announcement of Disco Elysium 2 .
