Insider Tom Henderson shared information about the upcoming Call of Duty, scheduled for release in 2025. This game will be a direct continuation of Black Ops 2, developing the plot in the near future, around 2030.
The project is currently in early production under the code name Saturn. According to Henderson, players can expect the return of familiar characters who will face a new antagonist.
The new part of Call of Duty will feature both remasters of maps from Black Ops 2 and completely new ones. The developers are looking to rework the movement system, introduce a high-speed Gunfight multiplayer mode into the game, and also restore the Pick 10 class creation system.
