Canadian game journalist and TV presenter Jeff Keely spoke about the upcoming The Game Awards 2021 event in an interview with Epic Games. According to him, the ceremony will show the largest number of new games, premieres and announcements. At the scheduled event, viewers will see footage from 40-50 games that will be released in the next two years.
I still feel like we've only scratched the surface of what PS5 and Xbox Series X are capable of. I think you're going to see something amazing at the show. Awards are only half the show. The rest is announcements and premieres.
The journalist noted that trailers of related projects, such as series and films related to games, will be presented at TGA. There will be no NFT games.
The Game Awards 2021 will take place on December 10 at 04:00 Moscow time and will be held live. The event at the Microsoft Theater will be open to everyone.
