Movie Insider Daniel Richtman has reported that Sony is developing a project that will bring back Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man.
According to him, Sony plans to create a separate universe for them, independent of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
It's possible that this universe will be linked to Sony's other superhero films, but given the tepid reception of Madame Web, Morbius and Venom, Sony will likely choose not to link the old Spidey to those projects.
Sony has probably realized that making Spider-Man movies without Spider-Man himself is not a good idea.
Earlier there were rumors of both spiders appearing in Avengers: Secret Wars, which confirms the possibility of their guest participation in KVM.
We can only hope that Sony will create a really quality movie with both spiders.
