Larian Studios plans to continue making big, ambitious RPGs despite no longer working on the Baldur's Gate franchise. In an interview with PCGamer, CEO Swen Vincke assured that the studio will not be cutting back on its projects and will continue to focus on big games.
"The machine was built to make great games. We are built to make big, ambitious RPGs and to explore new things," Vincke said.
He also emphasized that the team already has a clear idea of what the gameplay of future projects will look like and expects significant achievements. "We really know what we want from our game systems, how to evolve them, how to do new things... And all of that is very important," he added.
While Swen did not reveal any details about Larian's new projects, he did not rule out the possibility of branching out into other genres in the future. "Absolutely, yes. There are a lot of things I would like to do," he said, when asked about the possibility of developing games outside of fantasy.
The developers of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang are preparing a large-scale update called “Breaking the Waves”, which will be available on March 19. Players can expect a new hero, new events, rewards, as well as changes to the seasonal system.
Following last year's success, the organizers and partners (Lesta Igri, VK Play, Astrum Entertainment and 1C Game Studios) announced the second event will be held at the Crocus Expo exhibition center from October 31 to November 3, 2025.
A major update for War Thunder, Attack of the Hornet, will be released in mid-March, bringing new combat vehicles such as the F/A-18 and HMS Warspite, as well as significant visual improvements to the maps.
