Gameplay of the horror game Negative Atmosphere, inspired by the cult Dead Space

A new gameplay trailer for Negative Atmosphere shows off the dark tone, graphics, and gameplay of Sunscorched Studios' horror game, clearly inspired (if not more) by the iconic Dead Space series.

The game Negative Atmosphere with a third-person perspective is being developed on the Unreal Engine 4. The developers pay special attention to the horror mechanics and complex combat. The horror story takes place in an alternate universe during the Cold War. The protagonist, Samuel Edwards, is a 49-year-old former military medic who finds himself alone on the cargo spacecraft TRH Rusanov. He has to get out of the trap.

Official description of Negative Atmosphere

In Negative Atmosphere, a mysterious disease is spreading throughout the ship, causing all robots and personnel to mutate and deform into hideous creatures. These creatures are obsessed with destroying all organisms around them. Therefore, players must run, fighting their way through their former teammates, outcasts and sentient artificial structures and environmental hazards that Rusanov poses. Also, as players progress through the game, their mental state will deteriorate and hallucinations will begin.”

The game supports Nvidia DLSS technology. More detailed information is not yet available, as well as the release date is unknown.
