The Russian government may force Apple to allow Russian applications to be installed on devices

The Russian government plans to oblige Apple to allow Russian applications to be installed on its devices for unimpeded sale of products in the country.

The EU countries have acted in a similar manner. However, Russian officials do not take into account that Apple smartphones and computers are officially supplied to the EU, which is not the case with us. If Apple refuses, sanctioned products may disappear from store shelves.

The resolution is still at the stage of consideration and planning.
