The Chinese Resident Evil Killer Has Been Released

Recently, a new Chinese game The Killing Antidote appeared in Steam Early Access, which is similar in spirit to the Resident Evil series. Players will have to immerse themselves in a world infected with a mysterious microbe that turns people into mutants. The plot centers on journalist Jodie, who is trying to find an antidote and sort out the chaos that is happening.

At first glance, this is a classic action game with elements of close combat, shooting and a standard storyline. However, the possibility of detailed customization of the main character attracted special attention. Players can customize not only Jodie's appearance, but also choose different costumes for her, which adds an element of visual diversity.

It was not without problems. Many players were disappointed by the stealth mode, which turned out to be inconvenient and unfinished. The developers quickly responded to the criticism and promised to fix this aspect of the game. In particular, they plan to remove the problematic stealth, introduce a previously available bow and arrows, and revise the alarm system. In the Steam description, the development team apologized and assured that changes would be made soon.

So far, The Killing Antidote has received mixed reviews, but the developers continue to work on improving the gameplay.
