Well-known industry insider Tom Henderson has shared information that Hogwarts Legacy: Definitive Edition is in development. For players who already own the original version of the game, the content of this edition will be available as a separate DLC. According to Henderson's sources, the updated version will add between 10 and 15 hours of gameplay, including a new story quest, side quests, as well as unique costumes and items.
So far, the exact details about the release date and price of this edition remain unknown. However, some sources suggest that the release may take place in 2025. This coincides with the alleged plan of Warner Bros. to bolster its revenue after the disappointing results of the game Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. The cost of the DLC is expected to vary between $20 and $30.

The game remains one of the most popular games in the US in 2024, ranking 10th in sales. The success of Hogwarts Legacy has caught the attention of Warner Bros. executives, and as Warner Bros.
