Kraven the Hunter Could Be the Biggest Flop of the Spider-Man Movies

Some time ago, the premiere of the new film Kraven the Hunter took place in home theaters in the USA. And, judging by the incoming information, the new film demonstrates extremely low box office receipts.

Initially, analysts assumed that Kraven the Hunter would collect somewhere around $15 million on its debut weekend. About the same amount was collected by the failed Madame Web, which is currently considered the worst film in the Spider-Man universe. However, Kraven the Hunter has every chance of becoming a new anti-record holder, since so far it has only been able to collect 5 million.

It is known that the production of the film cost Sony 130 million dollars. So, in order to pay off and make a profit, the film must collect more than 260 million. This is clearly not going to happen, and therefore the company has firmly decided not to make any more projects about secondary characters of the franchise and concentrate exclusively on Spider-Man himself.
