Ubisoft studio told about who was planned to be the main character of Assassin's Creed Shadows initially.

The developers wanted to see a shinobi in their game, and this is quite logical, since it was about Japan. At some point, the hero (or heroine) had to put on armor, which later seemed unreasonable to the team. In the end, they decided to split the concept into two parts and make two characters at once: a classic ninja and a samurai.

However, Ubisoft got carried away with the dark-skinned Yasuke. So, they had to justify themselves and rewrite the hero's story, turning him from a samurai into an ordinary warrior in armor.

Let us remind you that the release of Assassin's Creed Shadows is scheduled for March 20 on PC and consoles.
