Turns out EA always loved Mass Effect more than Dragon Age

David Gaider, who is a former screenwriter for the Dragon Age game universe, said that EA has always preferred the Mass Effect space saga over the franchise.

It was this dislike that led Gaider to quit BioWare in 2016. The developer believes that Dragon Age was always on the verge of closure, especially after the release of Origins. But now that The Veilguard has failed in sales, EA can quite reasonably close up shop, citing financial losses.

It should be noted that the BioWare team is currently hard at work on Mass Effect 5.
