Microsoft has stopped production of Xbox One consoles

Microsoft is reportedly ceasing production of Xbox One model consoles to increase production of its current-generation Series X/S pads.
Microsoft has stopped production of Xbox One consoles

The Verge portal has reported that Microsoft has discontinued all four versions of the previous generation Xbox One consoles. This is done in order to increase the production of the platforms of the current generation Xbox Series X and S, which, apparently, is not enough.

It is noteworthy that earlier from the camp of the main competitors of the company, Sony, the opposite news was received. There, on the contrary, throughout 2022 they will continue to release a line of PS4 consoles, trying to cover the shortage of PS5 in stores around the world. Apparently, unlike Sony, Microsoft does not experience a particular shortage in the components from which their consoles are made.

In addition to this, it's worth pointing out that Xbox Head of Gaming Phil Spencer said that his team is doing great and console sales are exceeding management's expectations.
