New battlecruisers and battleships in War Thunder

Wat Thunder is waiting for a major update that will add many different ships and a large fleet of destroyers, cruisers and battleships

Gaijin Entertainment announces that battlecruisers and battleships will appear in the next War Thunder update, and a large fleet consisting of destroyers, cruisers and battleships will become a new, fifth type of military equipment in War Thunder - along with ground combat vehicles, aircraft, helicopters and small fleet.

Initially, light and fast ships of the small, mosquito fleet - torpedo and artillery boats, sea hunters, gunboats - took part in naval battles in War Thunder. Later, larger ships were added to War Thunder - frigates, destroyers and cruisers. With the New Power update, battlecruisers and battleships, real sea colossi with heavy armor and large-caliber guns, will appear in War Thunder.

For example, players will be able to take the helm of the British battleship Dreadnought (“Dreadnought”), the German battleship Westfalen, the American heavy cruiser New Orleans and other famous ships. The Dreadnought deserves special attention - at the beginningFor the past century, the construction of this battleship has devalued the fleets of all other powers thanks to the unified artillery on the principle of "only big guns" and the power plant with a steam turbine, and its name has become a household name for a whole generation of ships.

The experience of playing for small and large ships is significantly different - especially with the introduction of battleships. Therefore, with the release of the New Force, the fleet line will be divided into two independent ones - a small and a large fleet, and they will now be pumped separately. Ships already explored by players will not need to be upgraded again, and crews will be able to master any type of ship without restrictions. Thanks to this decision, new players who are trying out naval battles in War Thunder for the first time and are only interested in capital ships will be able to start right away with destroyers and get to cruisers and battleships faster, while developers will have more freedom in choosing ships for upcoming updates. At the same time, high-speed torpedo boats, gunboats and frigates will continue to participate in large-scale naval battles along with heavy ships and aircraft.
