Southern Coast The Talos Principle 2 — solving riddles and puzzles

Each location has several puzzles that you must solve. Some of them are mandatory, while others are optional.


South 1

1. Phase Entry

Teleporters will appear. Stand at the grate and teleport to the teleporter. Go past the purple barrier to the left, take the cube and teleport to the teleporter. Thus, with the help of teleport you can move objects through purple barriers! Place the cube on the button instead of the teleporter and jump to the other side. Place the teleporter on one of the buttons or anywhere. Go back for the cube and teleport with it. Go back and take the fan. Teleport with the item. Place the fan in place, and the cube and teleporter on the two buttons. Jump to the device.

2. The Escape

In this puzzle you will learn about a drill that can make holes in iron walls. Note that you cannot walk through these holes, but you can throw other objects into them. You can also pick up an item located on the other side of the hole.


Go behind the purple barrier to the drill and take the connector through the hole. Combine the connector with the red source and receiver so that the beam passes through the hole in the wall made by the drill. At the same time, the connector need to put it next to this hole. Enter the room with the red receiver and take the connector through the hole in the wall. Combine the connector with a red source and two red receivers. You will be able to take the teleporter.

Leave it opposite the drill. Take the drill and teleport through the purple barrier. Place the drill in the iron wall at the beginning of the location. Throw the teleporter through the hole and move towards it. Activate your device. You can get out of here using the stairs.

3. Through the Wall

Throw the teleporter into the hole and move to the drill. Make a hole in the second wall and move to the second teleporter. Take it and return to the first room with the drill and teleporter. Make a hole in the first wall again. Throw a teleporter there and move outside. Place this teleporter at the grate opposite the second room (where the second teleporter was). Move to the first teleporter near the drill. Create a hole in the second wall and throw the teleporter there (essentially putting it back in place). Take the drill and teleport to the teleporter outside. Then, with the drill, move to the teleporter in the second room. Create a hole in the third iron wall and activate the device.


4. Pushing Through

Combine the connector with two red receivers and a red source. Take the cube from the niche and place it on the button in the next room. Take the connector and teleport to the teleporter. Connect the red receiver in this room to the source. Take the teleporter and go outside. Place it near the receiver. Return to the room with the connector. Take the connector and move to the teleporter. Reconnect the red source and red receiver at the barrier with the button. Leave the cube on the first button and place the teleporter on the second. Return to the cube. Take the cube in your hands and stand on the button. Teleport (you still can't teleport through the blue barrier, but if it's disabled, the mechanic works), place the cube on the third button and activate the device.
