Any decision you make will have its consequences, which you will learn about by the message that pops up in the upper right corner of the screen. As for the achievements associated with these decisions, the most important thing is not to spend galactic units in the sixth chapter so that you have 8000 units to pay the fine in the ninth chapter. Also in the second chapter, you need to befriend Nikki in order to get her access card, which is associated with collecting all collectibles.

Chapter 1

There are no important decisions.

Chapter 2

Hide the Llama or Rocket components . At the beginning of the chapter, you can choose what is better to hide. If you hide the llama, Ko-Rel will only fine you 7000 credits later in chapter 2 and you will get a label in chapter 10. If you hide the Rocket components, Ko-Rel will fine you 8000 credits later in chapter 2, he will make the encounter easier later with one enemy when you use the components of the Rocket (your spaceship damage will become higher in chapter 9). The best choice is to hide the llama, you will save more money and time, upgrading the Rocket does not give a strong advantage.

Side with Ko-Rel or Nikki . We recommend that you be polite to Nikki (the little blue girl) throughout the chapter. Later, during the elevator ride with Ko-Rel and Nikki, you can either side with Ko-Rel (left dialogue choice) or Nikki (right dialogue choice). It is HIGHLY recommended to always be on Nikki's side (take the blame). She then gives you her access card, which can be used later in Chapter 7 to open locked doors to collect collectibles that would otherwise be unavailable if you side with Ko-Rel. There is no real benefit in siding with Ko-Rel.

Ko-Rel will fine you 7000 or 8000 galactic units depending on whether he finds the Rocket Parts or the Llama respectively. That is, the llama is best hidden.

Chapter 3

Sell Rocket or Groot . At the beginning of the chapter, you must choose whether to sell Rocket or Groot. Your choice will completely change Chapter 4. By choosing Groot, you will be able to make a deal with Lady Hellbender in Chapter 4 as she is interested in buying him. Lady Hellbender is not interested in buying Rocket and will laugh at you. When selling Groot, you will go to Lady Hellbender's throne room, and if you tried to sell Rocket, you will go to the Sanctuary and have to steal the money. Your team member will return later. Each path is unique and the level layout is completely different, but each path has the same collectibles and Guardian costumes, just in different locations. Either choice is good, but selling Groot is the safest bet.

Let Drax throw the Rocket or protect him . During the chapter, you will come to a cliff and Drax will pick up a Rocket and want to throw it over to clear a path for you. If you choose "Encourage Drax", Rocket will get mad at you throughout the chapter and be in a bad mood than usual. If you choose "Stop Drax", Rocket will appreciate it and you will have to go around the cliff. Your decision will affect some of the command's dialogues during chapter 3. It doesn't matter in later chapters. The choice also does not affect collectibles. Better stop Drax.

Chapter 4

Negotiations with Lady Hellbender . If you sold the Rocket, the negotiations will fail, no matter what dialogue you choose. She thinks that you are trying to trick her by selling a forest animal and laughs at you. Then the fight will begin, and it is necessary to steal money from the Vault. If you sold Groot earlier, then the amount of money you get depends on the dialogues: "Offer to other buyers and stand your ground", you will only get 9000, since Lady Hellbender does not like it when you negotiate in bad faith. Emphasize the uniqueness and let Drax complete the deal, then you will get 10,500 units, because Lady Hellbender is flirting with Drax.

Rest during the fourth chapter . The rest of the chapter depends on who you decide to sell (go to the throne room if you sold Groot / go to the vault to steal the money if you tried to sell Rocket).

Chapter 5

Talk through the helmet or remove it . If you speak into the helmet, then enemies will appear that will attack you immediately, and not talking into the helmet will save you from one collision with enemies (the rest of the enemy spawns in this chapter remain unchanged). Better to remove it.

Chapter 6

Sing with an alien in a bar . If you decide to go to the bar with the other Guardians before parting ways with them in the cutscene, you will meet an alien weirdo in the bar who wants to sing with you. You need to choose the right words that are related to the weather: "Like a hurricane" > "Through the rain". If you succeed, he will give you an item from the Collector's Store Ticket compendium. Success here is the best option. If you pass by the bar, you will not meet him.

Important . To pay the Chapter 9 fine for the trophy: Bronze: Galactic Thrift, you need to have at least 7000 or 8000 credits (depending on how much you were fined in Chapter 2)! During chapter 6, you can spend money in the market square. As trophies, it's best NOT to buy any items here.

Chapter 7

There are no important decisions.

Chapter 8

Communication with Reiker . You can distract Raker so Rocket has enough time to hack the drone behind him. This will come in handy later in chapter 8, the hacked drone will return to show you the way to the communications center to save time in a room with endlessly spawning enemies. If you fail to distract Raker, he will catch Rocket. The best choice is to distract him and let Rocket hack the drone. Select these dialogues: "Distract Raker" > "Anything about him?" > Fake heart attack.

Memories with Mom . During the Flashback, you will save your mom. After that, she will try to hug you several times. Here you MUST use the left stick to push her away and then aim and shoot her to kill her. She is just an illusion that keeps you trapped in memories, and killing her is the way out. If you let her hug you, darkness will consume you and the game will end - in which case you can choose "Rethink Choice" to try again, or "Accept Promise" to end the game early and return to the game again.

Chapter 9

Gamora appreciated that you let her go after Raker alone . In fact, this is not a choice that you can control. During chapter 8 there will be a very quick cutscene where Raker will reappear in the background fighting other enemies and Gamora says "I'll go after him" then she automatically runs after Raker and leaves your group. Later, you will see this red result in the top right corner.

Because you hid Rocket's weapons cache, he was able to upgrade the Milano's weapons system . If you hid the Missile weapon stash at the beginning of Chapter 2, you will now be able to upgrade weapons for your spaceship. However, the upgrade is not a big advantage.

It seems that your arguments did not convince the World Consciousness / You sowed a seed of doubt in the World Consciousness . After the battle of the spaceship, you will talk to the World Consciousness. The best outcome here is to "sow seeds of doubt in the Realm routine", which will cause the Realm to come back later in chapter 14 to help you face a huge enemy (kill all enemies instantly). To get this, select the following dialogs: Share Intel > Question Strategy > Perspective. If you fail to convince the World Consciousness, you simply won't get its help in facing the enemy later, and you will have to fight those enemies on your own, but nothing else will be affected.

Keeping your word, you decided to pay the fine / You did not pay the fine . After paying off the penalty in the game, your credits are no longer used. If you followed the instructions in chapter 6 (didn't spend your money on the chapter 6 marketplace), you should have more than enough money. If you don't pay it won't hurt the gameplay except you will miss the trophy/achievement.

Chapter 10

Results of decisions of the second chapter . If you hid the llama at the beginning of chapter 2, it will make a hole in the wall in your room through which you can escape. If you previously hid the Rocket stash at the start of Chapter 2, you will be locked in a room and must use the touch pad on your bed to guide the signed llama and lead her to the seating area (sofa) to release the door switch for your room.

Chapter 11

There are no important decisions.

Chapter 12

Help Cosmo free himself from the Promise / Don't help Cosmo . When you go to help Cosmo, you can choose between dialogues. If you manage to convince him, he will defeat a huge group of enemies for you in chapter 14, allowing you to skip the battle. It will also save you time because you won't fall into the trap of illusions with Cosmo's puppies. If you fail to convince him, he will get an additional illusion sequence later in which you have to watch out for the sounds of Cosmo's puppies barking, and he won't help you in chapter 14. To convince Cosmo: offer a hand > Focus on the present > Remind puppies.

Chapter 14

World consciousness and Cosmo . If you convinced the World Consciousness in chapter 9 and Cosmo in chapter 12, they will help you in this chapter by taking out a huge group of enemies each. This will save you time. If you haven't convinced them, you will have to fight these enemies on your own.

Chapter 15

The result of Gamora's pursuit of Raker in the eighth chapter . Raker will be weakened during the boss fight. Gamora was supposed to go after Raker automatically in Chapter 8 without your involvement (see Chapter 9 for an outcome in which she appreciates that you let her go after him).

Chapter 16

Being kind or rude to Magus . You need to tease Magus by making fun of him and showing disrespect. Select Slow Clap > Badger Him > Provoke Magus to win the boss fight.
