Dangerous task in Zenless Zone Zero Walkthrough

The second story mission of insert chapter 002 "Mission Unimaginable" in the game Zenless Zone Zero. Continue communicating with your brother/sister and other heroes until you receive the mission.

• Location: Old Town area
• Objective: Help Zhu Yuan and Qingyi recover the material evidence.
• Reward: 500 Internote Credits, 60 Polychromes, 2 Elite Researcher Supply Boxes, 2 Senior Researcher Supply Boxes, 2 Banbu Algorithmic Modules, 10,000 Denny.

This task requires characters with Electro and Ether damage. Leave Zhu Yuan in the squad and add, for example, Grace and Enby. At the start of the mission, there are three levers that allow you to rotate the pistons from below. First turn the first piston (left) once. Turn the middle piston twice (the second time you need to interact with the F key). Turn the right piston three times. This will create a path for Zhu Yuan and Qingyi.

Fight in the first battle, search the car with evidence and kill the enemies. After this there will be a cutscene and the next battle. Follow the only route, collecting Denny along the way, and find the magnifying glass to open the area. First you need to collect all the evidence. It's not difficult to do this. Just explore the area and use all the portals. When you move up to the right using the nearest portal, collect the senior researcher's box, evidence and go down to the right. There is a secret area with a hidden Elite Explorer Crate.

Return to the main area and move past the portal to the left, towards the piston. Once in the closed square area, collect the evidence and interact with the lever to send the piston down. This will take you back to the beginning. At the same time, you turned the left piston to the left. Use it to get into the area with Denny, a piston and a lever. Shift the lever to direct the nearest piston to the right. At the same time, the middle piston will be turned upward. This will take you to the upper area.

Collect Denny, the Senior Researcher's Crate, and move to the right. Pick up the first surveillance data package, evidence and use the transport path below. Examine all parts of the evidence! Press the R key to use Banbu's Psychoresonance Plugin. You will find yourself in the palace of the mind.

Answer all questions correctly:

• Left - By car!
• At the top - on foot.
• On the right - Criminals.
• In the middle - Not far from here!

Run an investigative experiment. Continue rewinding different parts of the video. If you see an orange line, it means you need to interact with something. Stand on the magnifying glass icon on the second segment, and on the third, eavesdrop on the bandits' conversation to find out the password - 54321. Leave the Palace of the Mind, go down and enter the password. Follow down and left, watch the video. The fairy will show you which teleports you need to enter. After that, pick up the second package of surveillance data and enter the portal.

In the new area, stand on the clock to see another video. To finish exploring it, you need to go through any marked brick wall. Exit the cutscene mode, noting that there are bandits hiding in the middle upper room. Inspect all the other rooms first, breaking the brick blocks. This will lead you to Denny and the third packet of surveillance data. Go to the bandits and win the final battle.
