Climb up to where Kurt was standing. Take the cassette and exit through the door. When you wake up, run across the roof to the far tower and talk to Kurt. It doesn't matter what you tell him. Climb back up the roof and climb to the top of the tower. Inside the tower, grab the bell and jump to the left. At the top, open the shield and remove the components. Take them to Kurt. Return back to the ship and speak with Juan to complete the quest.
