What to do with prisoners in Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord

Often, at the end of each successful battle, you will receive not only loot, but also prisoners. Don't know what to do with them? Then take a look at our guide below.

The battle with robbers, bandits and marauders will lead to the fact that several captives will be at your disposal. You may be glad to hear that they can be sold to earn dinars. And if you do not need extra money or the captured unit is strong enough, then there is even an opportunity to hire him, making him a soldier of a regular detachment.

In no case do not sell prisoners through the "Sell All" button. Instead, you need to sell each prisoner individually to earn a lot more experience points for the "Trade" and "Fraud" skills.

You can check all prisoners in your squad tab. You will find out how many soldiers are in the group, how many of them are injured, and below there will be cells with prisoners. Once you have them, look for a big city.

Go to the city, follow to the area with the tavern. But don't enter the tavern itself! Instead, look for the Ransom of Prisoners option. This will allow you to sell all available prisoners. For ordinary robbers, for example, they can give 5 dinars. Not a lot of money, but if you capture more valuable units, you can get better. Or hire them as soldiers of your squad.
