In order to increase War and Strife in Darksiders: Genesis , you will need to find five pieces of inscrutable abyssal armor. Below we tell you where they are.
Usually such items are stored in epic chests, however, you can buy some parts from Vulgrim.

Important note . Describing the location of these items, we mean that you have found a map of a particular location (and this is easy to do). Their location is indicated in a separate manual. In turn, the found map will allow you to see where this or that collectible item is located (in epic chests - armor, new abilities, improvements and ammunition; green and yellow marker - fragments of health and Wrath spheres, respectively).
Armor of War
- One piece of armor can be obtained as a reward in the Arena for 20,000 points.
- You will find the first part of the armor in the third chapter. When the first flying sorcerer appears, jump down to the left and follow the ledges. One of them will still have ingots. There is an explosive bomb on the far ledge, but it does not burn. Take it and throw it at the growth on the other side. Use the Blade of War to set fire to the bowls closest to the farthest and set fire to the bomb. Behind it will be an epic chest with a piece of armor.
- The second part of the armor is hidden in the epic chest in the fifth chapter. When you go down and find yourself at the locked gate, go left. Reaching the place with a she?with crystals, you can throw the sword of War at five of them. Climb to the left and find the plate for the portal. Create the first portal. Remember what symbols surround it. Now go down to the crystals and select five of the six with the desired symbols. If everything is done correctly, then a second plate for the portal will appear below. Create a second portal and jump between them, as you did in the fourth chapter. When there is a normal height, then from the left portal fly to the left, clinging to the hook. You will reach the desired ledge.
- In the seventh chapter, you need an Ethereal Spark of Discord (obtained from the story). Overcome the Belial Dam, where there is a passage to a secret drain below. Get to the location map and go left. Jump over and stand on the Spark platform. After creating a spark, lead it forward, to the right and back through the hole. You will go around the walls and reach the opening. There will be no more spikes on the beam and you will be able to climb up. Having done this, create a portal. The second should be at the bomb. With a ghostly hook, standing at the growth, pull the bomb and blow up the passage. Kill the enemy, break the seal and look into the epic chest.
- Another piece of War Armor is hidden behind the Trickster Gate in Chapter 15. Read the description of how to get the Wrath of War Shard in Chapter 15 (separate shard guide). Using the portal, move the bomb to the growth and set it on fire. Behind the growth will be alreadyburning bombs. Take one and throw it diagonally down and to the right (toward the teleport/exit). The fact is that there is a growth behind it. An epic chest is hidden under the growth. When you hear the music (it usually plays when you do an important action in a puzzle), then jump on the disappearing platforms to the chest.
Armor of Discord
- The first piece of the Strife armor is hidden inside the epic chest in chapter 11. After you kill Smirker, the boss of the area, go left and find the crystal. Throw a blade at it and a purple seal will open at the bottom. Jump down, create a portal on the left and a portal on the right. Stand on the Spark platform and send it through the nearest portal. Next will be a small maze. After examining it, bring the spark to the hole. A stream of air will appear, which will allow you to reach the chest at the top and to the right of the waterfall.
- When you have all the gadgets of the characters, return to the fourth chapter. From the beginning of the location, go to the right, to the epic chest. Jump up, hitting the platform with your glove. Then use the Spark of Discord to take it to the hole in the wall. Now aim at two crystals. But do not press E, but hold the key. You will charge a throwing blade. Only after that throw it into the crystals. Perhaps for this you need to buy a certain improvement from Dis. Where?With that, quickly switch to Discord and launch the Spark through the opened passage. Behind the passage, take a little to the left, and after that turn to the hole on the right. The chest contains armor .
- Another piece of the Armor of Discord is hidden at the beginning of the seventh chapter. Once you have the glove, go forward to the first pit with enemies. Climb the mountain in the center, hit the platform with your glove and jump up to the ledges. Fly to the left to reach the top ledge with red crystals. After breaking the crystals, you can take the Trickster's key. But you are interested in the passage on the left, to a new location. Go there. On the left there is a platform for the glove, but at the top there is a beam with spikes. Go right and find the lever. Pushing between the walls, pull the lever down. Run back to the left side and push off the platform with a gauntlet. Clinging to the beam, which now has no spikes, get to the ledge with the chest. Follow to the right and find opponents at another button. After killing everyone, jump up, defeat the enemy and open the epic chest with the item.
- The fourth piece of the Armor of Strife is hidden in the epic chest, which you will receive if you find the Trickster's Gate in the Abyss (not to be confused with the door to the left of Vulgrim). Our secret boss guide details how to get to it.
- The last piece of armor is found in chapter 14. On the surface. D?take to the complex. It is surrounded by a high wall. There are two symbols on the wall to the right. You need to activate them. Climb up on the left side and move on top of the platform. She will drive back to the beginning of the location, but there will be three separate towers on the right. You can move between them to collect different items. Near one of the towers there is a wall with a crystal. Throw a blade at him. Climb the high wall and go right. In a place with red barrels, you need to go down and to the right. But if you approach the edge of the wall from below, you will notice a hook. Hook on it to get the Boatman's Coin. Go even more to the left and lower. Create two teleporters on purple seals, jump between them. Your character will be taller and taller, after which you can throw your blade at the second crystal. This will activate the second seal. It remains to search the chest. All parts are assembled!
