I avoided these items for a long time, did not use them on the character - but in vain! In fact, you can hide ANY piece of equipment - hats, gloves, scarves and glasses. And it's very easy to do it.
You may have noticed that a lot of the gear you get is ostensibly collectible. They don't appear in your inventory, but they are somewhere else! Hover your mouse over the current item of equipment, for example, in the headgear slot. Press the F key to select its appearance. The item will bring the same characteristics and properties as before. It will just look different.
So, among all these collectible skins, you can find a crossed out icon. Click on it and you will hide the current item of equipment from the character, but at the same time continue to enjoy all its benefits!
