Endings in The Chant

The horror The Chant can be completed with three different endings, for each of which certain conditions must be met. Each ending has an associated achievement.

Simply put, each ending is tied to one of The Chant's core stats: mind, body, and spirit. For example, if you want to unlock the mind ending, you need to finish the game with the most mind points.

You can check your points at any time by pausing and going to the game statistics. The stats page can also be used to check kill counts, including Prismocores (15 required for Growth Into Reality), Creatures of Gloom (35 for Grim Hunter), Total Time Played (less than four hours for Midsummer Solstice). ), sectarians (40 for "Massacre of heretics").

How to get The Chant Mind Ending

For the mind ending, you will need the most mind points.

Here's what you need to do:

• Pick up and read historical documents/videos: 1 point for each item.
• Consume Lavender to restore mental energy: 1 point per use.
• Reasonable choice of dialogue options when prompted (Xbox Y button): 3 points per action.

And here's what you should avoid:

• Killing Enemies When Not Needed: Every Kill Adds?Does one point in either the body or the spirit, depending on the type of enemy.
• Choice of dialogue options by body or spirit.
• Replenishment of bodily or spiritual energy when not needed

Completing the game with more mind points than body or spirit will unlock the Howl in the Dark achievement or trophy.

How to get The Chant body ending

To finish the body, you will need the most body points.

Here's what you need to do:

• Killing cultists (don't kill grim creatures): 1 point per kill.
• Use ginger to restore body energy: 1 point per use.
• Selecting dialogue branches by body when prompted (B button on Xbox): 3 points per action.

And here's what you should avoid:

• Do not collect documents and so on: each document gives 1 point of intelligence.
• Killing gloomy creatures when not required: Each kill adds one point to the spirit.
• Choice of mind or spirit dialogue options.
• Replenishment of the energy of the mind or spirit when it is not required.

Completing the game with more Body Points than Mind or Spirit will unlock the Calm, Only Calm achievement or trophy.

How to get The Chant spirit ending

To complete the spirit, you will need the highest number of spirit points.

Here's what you need to do:

• Grim creature kills: 1 point per kill.
• Consume spirit caps to restore spirit energy: 1 point per use.
• Choice of spirit dialogue options when prompted (Xbox A button): 3 points per action.

And here's what you should avoid:

• Collecting any documents/knowledge movies: each document remembers 1 point.
• Killing cultists when not required: Each kill will add one point to the body.
• Choice of mind or body dialogue options.
• Replenishing the energy of the mind or body when not needed.

You will receive the "Shhh..." achievement.
