W: Time Hunter in Romance Club offers a fantastic plot that revolves around a witch living in the shadows and finding herself in a world full of dangers, secrets, and magic. The storyline offers players two paths: Heiress of the Moon and Messenger of the Sun, each of which has its own unique plot forks and choices.

This world also features a conflict with the Church and many mysteries surrounding the source of magical power and a conspiracy against religious authorities. The protagonist must not only cope with trials and understand the politics of the magical world, but also preserve her identity and secret.

Players can choose from several romantic interests, such as Shen, Vesper, Onyx, Lucien, and Renato, and the path they choose does not affect the development of the relationship with the chosen favorite. The story is filled with fantasy elements and offers deep moral and personal dilemmas for the protagonist.
