The authors of Rainbow Six Siege plan to further develop the esports component

Ubisoft plans to further develop the esports direction in its competitive shooter Rainbow Six Siege. In particular, this year the developers plan to introduce a number of new features that will increase the comfort of users while watching broadcasts.

New observer cells will be added to the user client, which will allow viewers to better understand what is happening on the screen. We are also waiting for the introduction of functionality for installing additional cameras - users will be able to watch the event in the first person of any participant.

Among other things, the retention period for match replays will be extended so that players can watch them throughout the season. Innovations will begin to be implemented on March 9 this year, when the next rating season starts.
