According to analysts, Top Gun: Maverick will be the highest-grossing film for Paramount Pictures.
The film takes place 36 years after the events of the original. The legendary Peter Mitchell decides to take a job as Top Gun's new flight instructor, which also trains Bradley "The Badass" Bradshaw, son of Nick "The Goose" Bradshaw, who aspires to become a pilot like his father.
The success of the title is quite expected.
