Season 2 of Vikings: Valhalla premieres January 12 on Netflix. The second season will consist of eight episodes.
Valhalla is a spin-off of Vikings. The film takes place 100 years after the events of the original. The heroes will go to conquer the Dnieper and meet with the inhabitants of Kievan Rus.
The main characters of the show are jarls Leif Eriksson (Sam Corlett), Harald the Severe (Leo Suter) and Canute the Great (Bradley Freegard), as well as the warrior Freydis Eriksdottir (Frida Gustavsson) and Queen Emma of Normandy (Laura Berlin). The film will touch upon the confrontation between paganism and growing like a cancerous tumor of Christianity.
