Immortals: Fenyx Rising recently released on Steam. The hackers saw that in addition to the Denuvo protected exe file, the game folder also contained four more: one without protection and three with different debugging functions.
Most likely, one of the employees of the company made a mistake. Thanks to an unprotected executable, hackers promptly leaked the game to torrents with all the patches and additions.
Immortals: Fenyx Rising first released on December 3, 2020 as an EGS exclusive, and Empress was hacked on February 22, 2021. There were 3 major additions to the game, but they could not be hacked.
The success of the title is quite expected.
