About a year ago, developer Remedy Entertainment revealed that a remake of Max Payne and Max Payne 2 was in production.
A year later, there is very little information about the remakes. It is known that they are still in the early stages of development. Remedy Entertainment has shared that the Max Payne 1 and 2 remake will be fully funded by Rockstar Games. The amount remains a secret.
Recall that the sequel to Control cost 50 million euros. So the Max Payne remake will cost more.
