Walkthrough The Case of Golden Idol

  1. Each chapter has at least three goals. There is always the task of compiling a summary of the case and identifying all the people. The third goal varies by chapter and can range from translating runes to determining how people sit at the dinner table.
  2. Before you try to write a general summary, it would be wise to complete the ID and third goal sections, as you need to have a good understanding of the matter.
  3. Technically, the only thing you really need to complete the case is to complete the resume, but identifying everyone and answering the third question will make things easier.
  4. Keywords can be given out in several places. For example, Edmund's name is on almost every document in Case #5. For the sake of ease of reading, I will indicate one place for each word, but this does not mean that there are no other places.
  5. If all else fails, proceed by elimination. If you can't figure out how to identify one person, come back to them later.
  6. The keywords are usually underlined, but some of them will appear in the inventory when you examine the corresponding object.
  7. As you progress through the game, more and more inappropriate words will appear that are used to mislead you.
  8. Words are classified by color, and the color must match the empty space that is used to answer the question. For example, yellow? The ?th noun cannot be used to answer the brown question. As the game continues, in some sections it will be possible to use words of different colors, which makes it difficult to play at random.

Case 1. Sudden termination of the contract

Words:

  • Albert, Cloudsley, Oberon, Geller. From a contract made by both men.
  • Horn, Finger, Ruins, Xenopolis, Finger, Shadows, Bay. A card carried by someone who has fallen from a cliff.

The third task is to find out where the murder scene is located on the island.

Hints:

  • The main identity document indicates how the treasure will be divided.
  • Are there any physical landmarks by which to determine the location?
  • If someone has a pipe and does not have tobacco, then he most likely keeps it in his personal belongings.

Case 2. Untimely death

Words:

  • Lead poisoning. Blue book on the shelf.
  • Staircase: on the wall.
  • Spontaneous combustion, Sebastian, Cloudsley: Papers on the table.
  • Study, lunch, hunt: diary on the table.
  • Horse: click on the horse that is moving past the window.
  • Woodshire, Crowtower, Blackfield: Map on the wall.
  • Wound, Head: body.

The third task is to determine which of the three outfits belongs to the victim.

Hints:

  • The cause of death is obvious, but the mechanism of injury can be interpreted in two ways.?ko.
  • The diary is from August 22, but the actual date is August 23, so make sure you're not misled.
  • The only document that explains what kind of estate it is has only physical landmarks to tell them apart. Are there any sights you can see?
  • The trail of blood leads out of the room, which means the victim was wounded from outside.
