The release date of The Lord of the Rings: Gollum has become known

Daedalic Entertainment and NACON are pleased to announce the premiere date for the story-driven stealth adventure The Lord of the Rings: Gollum . Take a look at the iconic character from a new perspective on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S starting September 1, 2022. A Nintendo Switch version will also be released later.

The game is based on the cult trilogy "The Lord of the Rings" by J.R. R. Tolkien. You are waiting for the adventures of the famous Gollum that have remained behind the scenes during the events of the book The Fellowship of the Ring. Deprived of his charms, Gollum decided to leave the Misty Mountains and go on a dangerous adventure. The road will lead him from the terrible dungeons of Barad-dur to the gloomy thickets of Mirkwood. Gollum's cunning will become his main weapon and help him survive the many dangers of Middle-earth. And do not forget about his second "I" - Smeagol. It's up to you to decide whether Gollum's dark side takes over or whether there is a spark of reason left in what was once Sméagol. Be prepared to meet both familiar characters from the books and completely new characters.

The Lord of the Rings: Gollum is being developed by Daedalic Entertainment in collaboration with Middle-earth Enterprises and co-published by Daedalic and NACON. The game will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S on September 1, 2022. The console version will be available in a boxed edition.
