Next Borderlands game could be called The Last Borderlands

A new data leak from Nvidia services hints at a potential title for a new game in the Borderlands series. And according to these data, the new part will be called The Last Borderlands .

The GeForce Now leak has exposed a lot of interesting projects. For example, we learned the details of BioShock 4 and the potential release date of Hollow Knight: Silksong . But YouTuber Whimsu claims to have found a game called The Last Borderlands in this data.

Sounds cool, but there are still a few significant caveats. First, while Nvidia has acknowledged that the listing is real, the company claims that the information it contains may be "speculative" and there is no guarantee that any of it is true.

More importantly, Gearbox is not listed as the developer or publisher of the game. Instead, it mentions RealmsQuest Ltd, which is listed by Companies House as a consulting agency based in Brighton. As pointed out on Reddit, the publisher of the series, 2K, is based in Brighton, but we are talking about Hangar 13, the developer of Mafia. In the past, other studios have been involved in the Borderlands franchise, but Randy Pitchford has already confirmed that Gearbox will be developing the next titles in the series.
