Well-known insider Tom Henderson in his new video said that the development of a new game Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is at the alpha stage. Thus, it follows that a full-fledged release of the next part of the shooter series can take place both this and next year.
Mr. Henderson said teams from 11 internal Activision studios are working on the sequel, including franchise veterans Infinity Ward, Treyarch Games, Raven Software and Sledgehammer Games. The insider even managed to see some materials from the early build of the game, and he said that the project looks good for its time.
We hope that the developers will take into account all the oversights and errors on the release of Vanguard, which pretty much spoiled the reputation of both the studios themselves and the franchise as a whole. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has yet to be officially announced.
