Bethesda closes its launcher and moves all games to Steam

Bethesda has announced the closure of its Bethesda.net launcher and the transfer of all games to the Steam digital marketplace. The procedure will take place in May of this year, while the players do not need to worry about the safety of their libraries and wallets - all the property of users will migrate along with the database to the new platform.

In addition, saves will also be transferred, and to enter the same DOOM Eternal and Fallout 76, you don’t even have to re-register. More details about the transfer procedure are written in a special FAQ - there you will find answers to most questions.

As for the reason for the closure, the developers did not say anything. Apparently, the company no longer sees any point in further supporting the launcher due to its not too great popularity.
