In Russia, they proposed to legalize mining, but only on domestic equipment

The Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade took the initiative to legalize the mining of cryptocurrencies, however, to oblige the owners of "farms" to use exclusively domestic equipment in their activities.

Such a requirement, according to the initiators, improves information security and stimulates the production and sale of Russian digital goods. True, it is not yet known exactly what kind of “domestic equipment” is meant, because our country has not yet learned how to produce the same video cards. It's probably just about the software.

At the moment, the department is developing practical proposals aimed at legalizing cryptocurrency in our country. In the future, these proposals will form the basis of a roadmap for regulating the activities of P2P platforms.
