Nintendo has no plans to return to Russia yet

Some time ago, a meeting of Nintendo representatives with investors was held, at which, among other things, the future work of the organization in Russia was discussed . The management team of the brand, answering a question, said that so far Nintendo is not talking about the return of activities to the territory of the Russian Federation.

At the same time, the president of the organization, Shuntaro Furukawa, does not clearly state that the brand has finally left the market. Yes, the products are not sold in Russia yet, but the current situation is described as “maintenance”.

It is worth noting that for Nintendo, Russian gamers are a very small part of the total audience of users. Even if the company finally leaves the country, this will not have a particularly critical impact on its income.
