In pre-release builds of Windows 11, an ad for the OneDrive cloud service has been spotted in the Start menu. Microsoft has added it to the end-of-work session menu. Users are prompted to create a OneDrive account. Ads cannot be disabled.
The company considers the advertisements "useful" for novice PC users. Microsoft has confirmed that the feature is currently in testing.
Recall that Microsoft was unable to fulfill the plan for new Game Pass subscribers. The company was supposed to increase the number of subscribers by 75%, but it turned out to be only 28%.
