According to Deadline , Travis Fimmel will play the lead role in Denis Villeneuve's Dune spin-off series.
Travis will play the charismatic soldier Desmond Hart, who keeps a dark origin story a secret and tries to ingratiate himself with the Emperor. Other roles in the TV show will be played by Emily Watson and Shirley Henderson.
