Starting January 14 of this year, NVIDIA RTX graphics cards will receive a fresh Game Ready graphics driver update. In it, developers will launch a new technology called DLDSR, which will make the image in games on personal computers even better.
This technology was developed and improved using machine learning. Speaking more specifically about DLDSR, the system will allow you to render a game image in a resolution that exceeds the resolution of the user's monitor, and then downscale it. Thus, the detailing of the final picture improves, however, this will allow using much more resources from the system.
So, if you were planning to buy a new RTX graphics card, after January 14th you will have an additional incentive to do so.
