Before you start the walkthrough, we advise you to read the Darksiders Genesis walkthrough tips.

  1. Use the V key to switch between characters.
  2. If one of the heroes dies, you will automatically control the second one. A countdown will start, after which the main character will come to life.
  3. The G key allows you to switch between the tools of the heroes. They are used not only in combat, but also for solving puzzles.
  4. Keys 1/2/3 are responsible for activating the abilities of Wrath. Each ability can consume a full Wrath slot or only half. Initially, only one Wrath ability is available, but in the future you will find more.
  5. Epic chests contain War/Strife armor or Wrath abilities.
  6. To increase your health and Wrath, collect shards of the corresponding spheres.
  7. To open the secret door of the Trickster to the left of Vulgrim, you need to open 12 Vulgrim gates scattered throughout the game locations.
  8. When riding a horse, you not only move faster, but also deal increased weapon damage. And also do not take damage (only the horse is damaged).
  9. Do not forget to finish off enemies with the F key. On some, this key may not appear, but if they have low HP, you can press F on your own without any prompts.it will definitely work.

Chapter 1

Defeat the fleas serving in the Downfall of the Throne (0/10)

They are not marked on the map. In the first part of the map there are 3 fleas (the first one is up in front of the bridge, where you will see the first enemies), at the Outpost - two (one on the island above, in front of the locked gate), on the Fortress Path - three (one on the island on the right), on the Blackstone Wall - one. And another flea lurks below (you will find it when you go down the elevator after defeating the boss). All fleas sit at the edge of the cliff.

Defeat the demons besieging Samael's castle (0/75)


Just kill all the enemies you meet on your way.

Reward : 400 souls.


Destroy the ballistas bombarding Blackstone Castle (0/2)

Like fleas, ballistas are not marked on the map. One ballista is located at the Outpost, the second is on the island to the right of the Fortress Path location.


Reward : 3 boatman coins.

When the dialogue of Discord and War is over, run?Go along the edge of the cliff and inspect the location. Having reached the bridge, he watches the cut-scene. From now on, all sorts of opponents will meet on your way. We advise you to destroy small mobs with Discord, or rather, with shots from afar. When you encounter heavier opponents, switch to War and destroy them.

Find a place where you can climb the rock. Between the rocks you will see a glowing ball - jump on it and press the jump key again to go higher. Search the altar on the right and take a map of all locations. On this map, you can track all the chests, health stones, and Coins of the Boatman. Walk a little further to start the first mini-boss fight. Destroy the enemy and open the purple chest. The new War skill " Earth Shatter " is now available to you. Deal with a few more demons, approach the gate and lower the two levers. Cross the bridge and cross the cliff.

Outpost

You again find yourself one-on-one with several strong opponents. Eliminate them, then ataforge the Gate of Souls to destroy it and open a passage. Run forward and take out a small group of enemies. Use the orb between the rocks on the left to climb up. Here you need to destroy the siege weapon and some demons. Do this, go down back and follow further on the task.

Approach the cliff, behind which there is a small hook. This is the Ghost Hook, with which you can overcome obstacles. To use it, just press RMB on it while jumping and jump again. On the right, pick up the Boatman's Coin and lower the lever on the wall. Use the grappling hook to climb the rock.

You enter the arena again, but this time there will be a few more opponents. Switch between Strife and War to keep your health and destroy your enemies. When all enemies are eliminated, open the purple chest and get the Discord skill " Charged Shot ". When the spears disappear, kill the last demon and get to the other side using the hooks. Go down, collecting the boatman's coins along the way. Find a cliff that has a glowing orb and use it. Here you will find the second siege engine that needs to be destroyed. Go back and go a little more around the location. You will see a destroyed wooden structure, at the end of which a purple object is spinning. This- Key of the Trickster. Walk along the wooden beams and pick it up, after which you can continue your journey through the location.

You need to go back a little and find a safe descent. A few coins of the boatman will become a reference point. Destroy the demons and search the location. When you collect all the coins and open all the chests, you can get over to the walls of the tower using hooks. Kill all the demons and get to the Gate of Souls. A serious battle awaits you here, so do not lose your grip and restore your health in time. Deal with another group of enemies and interact with the Fog Door. We recommend that you first complete the collection of collectibles in the location, since after passing through this door you will not be able to go back.

Get to the end of the wall to fight the boss. He uses only three types of attacks: just dodge his attacks and attack with ranged weapons (Strife). Take the elevator down, search the right side of the area for the Boatman's Coin, then find the door to the castle and interact with it.

Abyss

Follow the only path until you reach a small arena. Defeat the chained creature and pick up the Shearing Sword skill. Go back a little and find the blue stone on the wall. SelectTake the skill you just learned, press Ctrl and E to open the passage. In the same way, activate the ball to get to the next island. Now you have a bowl of fire in front of you and two racks that need to be lit. Simultaneously hold Ctrl + Shift, then select these items and press the E key to shoot. Climb to the arena and press the F button. After a short dialogue, hold down the M key to end the chapter.

Chapter 2

Defeat all 5 bats in the Slag Pit

During the passage of the level, you will find bats. Be aware that they will start to fly away whenever you are too close. Therefore, they should be killed immediately. If the mouse flies away, the task will fail. You have to restart the level. The first mouse will be in front of the boss arena, two more - in the upper corners of the arena, the fourth - on the left, on the far ledge, the fifth - on the ledge on the right.

Borrow souls from all soul slots (0/4)

You need to destroy fireballs with chains that are scattered around the location. Finding them is easy enough. The first, for example, is behind the Trickster Gate at the beginning of the chapter, and the third is on the ledge on the right when you move out.from the steps from the beginning of the location. Look for the third orb in front of the door with the growth, which is destroyed by the explosive bomb, and the fourth one is to the left of the main boss battle arena.

Defeat the Slag Demon using an execution

When you fight the final boss, keep an eye on his health bar. At the end, a tooltip with the F key should appear. However, a tooltip may not appear, so if the enemy is low on health, approach him and press F without waiting for any advice.

You are in the Abyss. Climb the stairs to the left to find the "soul eater" Vulgrim and start a dialogue with him. Listen to him and return to the place where you came from. Interact with the portal using the F key and start the passage of the second chapter. By the way, as in previous games in the series, Vulgrim is a merchant from whom you can purchase upgrades, soul cores, and consumable items.

After a short dialogue between the Riders, go forward a little and find a locked door. Use the Trickster Key to open it and take useful items and upgrades from the e?oh room. Go back and approach the column on the left. Here you will see a lava formation from which a bomb can be seen. With these bombs, you can destroy Bomb growths - just one of these is on the wall on the left. Interact with the bomb and throw it at the right place to open a passage.

Go down the cave, destroying weak demons along the way. To the left of the stairs, you will see a cluster of souls in a red shell - fire a few shots at it and collect the souls. Walk a little further and pick up another Trickster Key. Return to the stairs and go down to the arena. Walk a little further and find a locked gate. Use the bomb to get rid of the Bomb Growth, then switch to War, select the Shearing Blade skill, then hold Shift and LCtrl to highlight the two crystals on the gate.

Pillars

Walk forward, activate the Riders dialogue and go down to the Slag Pit. Here you need to activate three glyphs, with which you can activate the locking mechanism and open the cage. You can start on the left side, as it is the easiest to pass. Approach the edge of the platform and jump to the island on the left to get to the Pillars. Climb the stairs, jump to the next island and climb the ledges on the rock. As soon asyou get to the seal, strong demons will appear. We advise you to retreat back to a small island and destroy the enemies from here with Discord. When the area is cleared, approach the seal and interact with it. Return to the platform.

thresher

Approach the central seal and use the hook to get over to the opposite side. Overcome several obstacles, after which you will find yourself on a destroyed column. In front of you is an island on which several demons walk: deal with all enemies directly from the column. Collect trophies from the dead, open the chest in the center of the location and go around the columns on the left. On the wall to the right, you can observe a lava formation from which you can take a bomb. Select the Ghost Hook from the available skills and use it to capture the bomb. Throw a bomb at the Bomb Growth. When the passage opens, go up the hill and interact with the seal.

It remains to visit the last location - Lava flows. To do this, return to the platform and run to the right side. Jump to the island, eliminate all the demons, then go to the center of the location. When you jump over to the central island, demons will attack from all sides. Deal with them and find a way to get rid of Bo??bovogo growth on the right side of the protagonist. To do this, take a bomb from the lava formation and throw it at the growth. Now the bomb needs to be set on fire: select War and use the Shearing Blade skill, having previously marked the targets. When the growth disappears, activate the third seal. Return to the platform and interact with the last seal.

Slag Demon

This boss is not too heavy, but he has one very unpleasant attack: the enemy puts his club on the ground and accelerates towards the hero. If you miss such a blow, then the demon will follow up with another blow. In this case, the rider will have very little health left, literally for one hit. Try not to let this happen and dodge the demon's attacks in time. When the trophy is received, return to the Abyss to Vulgrim.

Collect all the ingots (0/4) in the Vault of the Underworld and take them to the Hellforge

The ingots are scattered all over the map. From the beginning of the location, move down the stairs and find the first ingots. The second can be found shortly aftermanifestations of the first flying sorcerer. From it, jump down to the left and jump on separate ledges. To get the third ingots, get to the shard of the Orb of Wrath. Nearby there is an air flow that is needed to go further. But you move to the left and climb up the hill at the top of the screen. After collecting all the ingots, exit the dungeon and run up the screen to the Trickster Gate. There is a forge inside. Go there and interact with the furnace to get an orange Creature core.

After starting the plant in the Vault of the Underworld, walk through it without dying

Everything is clear here. You need to complete the Dungeon without dying once.

Once at the location, run along the only path down, pick up the ingots (1/4) , and also open the chest with souls. Having reached the cliff, destroy several demons and overcome the lava waterfall. There are two pillars in front of you - jump on the first one to get hooked. Climb higher and turn around to the second pillar, ?Then press the Shift key to duck and jump onto the ledge.

Here you will find a new type of flying enemies, who also know how to control the elements. Try to deal with him as quickly as possible, as such opponents can deal serious damage. On the right there is a small puzzle that can be solved later. You will also find some Boatman Coins and Gold Ingots (2/4) here if you go down the ruined stairs to the cliff. Return to the place where the flying demon attacked you and run up the stairs.

Open another chest with souls, then climb even higher. Several demons will be waiting here, led by flying opponents. Kill them all and look on the right side of the area to find the Discord Upgrade (Thorns) in the purple chest. Beware: as soon as the chest is opened, the hero will be attacked by a horde of demons!

Run to the left side of the location, and at the end turn left again. Interact with the Riders' ghosts to listen to the dialogue and pick up the Boatman's Coin. Now go back but do not rush to climb the hill. Now it is better to examine the upper part of the location. You will have to fight a little, but here you will find ingots (3/4) and a destructible chest with the Core. When you're ready, go to the center of the location and pick up??b up with the help of the blue ball.

Open the chest with souls, and also take the key of the Trickster from the cliff. Now, in order to get to the Domina location, you first need to climb onto the pillar, then jump off it and grab the Ghost Hook. Run forward, destroying all living things in your path. At some point, you will find yourself at the gates of the Hellforge. On the right side of the chest, you can pick up an Infernal Vault Map. Do not rush to open the doors to the Forge, because if you follow the passage on the left, you will find a door that can be opened with the Trickster's key.

Explore the room: collect useful items and upgrades, then return to the gates of the Forge. To open them, pick up a bomb in the lower left corner of the location and throw it at one of the levers. While this lever is active, interact with the second one. When the gate is open, go to the next location.

Burning

Go to the central part of the map, where the hero is attacked by a group of demons. Since you already have a map, you can easily find the last ingot (4/4) , as well as some Boatman's coins and Trickster's key. Run around the location and interact with the only lever. Now you need to get as high as possible by interacting with various beams and crossbars. When will you make it an asset??ruyte two levers. Overcome a small obstacle course to get to the next location.

Thunderspitter of the Legion

Walk forward and climb onto a small platform. After going down, interact with the lever and go up again. Examine the chest behind the opened passage and prepare for the battle with the final boss.

This enemy uses a rapid-fire machine gun as a weapon, and also releases fireballs at a certain interval. On the map, you can observe columns: use them to hide from the demon's shots, and when he switches to fireballs, attack with Discord. When you destroy the demon, go to the end of the map and activate the last lever. Take the Smoldering Heart and return to the Abyss.

Chapter 4

Feed the Soul Orb to the Idol in Ice Cave

Go up the location (from the very beginning) and find a tall statue worshiped by fleas. Kill everyone so that the ball in the chains turns orange, and then destroy it.

Reward : 3 Boatman coins.

Smash all frozen fleas in the Ice Cave (0/60)

Just research carefullythe last location before going down (when you activate all four seals). You are interested in frozen opponents. Approach them to thaw them, and then kill them.

Reward : 600 souls.

Close the gap from which the monsters of the abyss emerge

To get to the rift, go up from the starting point (but first you need to advance through the chapter's story and get the Discord Void Bomb). A little to the right will be a wall. On it and behind it there are two panels for creating portals. After making them, move behind the wall, kill the enemies and jump over the gap on the left. You will see a gap on the wall. Interact with him and kill opponents.

Reward : 3 Boatman coins.

According to the main task, you need to light four beacons. From the beginning of the location, go up the stairs to the left. Kill the enemies and use the throwing weapon of War to set fire to the large bowl (from the small one). Move up the screen and to the left. There will be a second lighthouse here. But you will need to deliver the fire to it, alternately setting fire to the small bowls on the steps. Follow straight down from the starting point and find the third beacon. To set it on fire, use the huge burning bowl hanging on the left. Finally, from the third beacon, move diagonally to the right-up, what??s find the fourth. It's easy to set it on fire!

Climb down and move forward until you get a new weapon - Void Discord Bomb. With it, you can create two portals, and you can only make them on specially marked plates (purple symbols). Create two portals nearby. To throw a bomb, select it in the weapon wheel (hold G), then hold E while aiming at the desired location and click LMB. Go through the portal to be at the top. Create two more portals. One of them is at the top opposite the growth. Throw an explosive bomb through the bottom portal to explode the growth and climb higher. The way forward is easy, but before you move to the boss, you can turn left to find a teleport leading to the beginning. So you can go back and, since the location map is hidden in the dungeon, explore the upper level of the Ice Caverns.

When you're ready, follow forward to the boss. Kill the Hellhound (no problem) and then solve a simple puzzle. Create a portal at the gate and a portal at the top left. Throw an explosive bomb into the nearest portal so that it flies over the fiery bowl. The explosion will activate a switch that will open the way to the relic.

Chapter 5

Reach the western seal in the Horde without hitting the trapshku

When you get to the place in the dungeon, where you will need to go left and right, follow our instructions to the left, which are described below. That is, you will need to activate the correct symbols in order not to fall into the trap.

Collect 10,000 souls before the end of the passage of the Horde

Find and kill the Houndmaster

To find the Houndmaster, move forward until you reach the gate, which will lead to the Legion's Thunderspitter. Defeat the boss, but instead of going to the lift, follow the opposite direction and turn right. There will be elevations that will lead you to the door to the Kennel. Follow through the Kennel. Create two portals: one near the growth that blocked the path, and the other behind the bars on the left. Having done this, move through the portal at the growth into the room behind the bars. Kill a Houndmaster in Horde with less than 5 dogs defeated so far

This is the advanced task described above. You must get to the Houndmaster and kill him in such a way as to finish off no more than 4 dogs. The task is very difficult, so we recommend that you complete it on a low difficulty level. However, at a high level of difficulty, the dogs will have a larger supply of health. The main task is to go down to the treasury. You can go straight through the gate, where Thunderspitter is waiting for you, or you can follow through the kennel, where you have to kill the Houndmaster. After going down, move forward and find yourself at the locked gate. First go right. The only way you will get to the treasury. Here will be the first statue that you need to activate. And to the right of it there is a location map. After activation, go back, but in a different way (you will need to create a bridge near the red crystals).

Follow the left and get to the recess with six crystals. Above each crystal there are symbols. Ahead is a grille with a switch. There are two symbols above it. Drop itthose sword of War into crystals with the same symbols. The grid will open. Jump back to the bomb and throw it at the switch until the grate closes. Go through the opened door and activate the second statue. If you wish, after activating it, you can go to the left to find a descent into the cache (into the pit where the lava flows). And so return to the central room, kill the enemies and activate the pool with yellow liquid.

Chapter 6

Defeat Mammon without destroying any artifacts

Defeat Mammon without taking any damage

As you can see, the secondary goals above can contradict each other. Therefore, you will have to fight Mammon (if you want to complete them) at least twice. It is better to win without taking damage on a low difficulty along with the task of eliminating all artifacts. After the victory, the mission will end.

Arena

Complete any level of the Arena to score at least 500 points and redeem a story item. For switch?To navigate between the Quest and Arena tabs, use the key next to the right Shift. Depending on the language, "dot" or / will work.

Chapter 7

Defeat all snakes in Decay (0/7)

The first two snakes are in the hollow to the right of the start of the location. You will go down there if you go to the Trickster Gate. Be aware that if the snakes notice you, they will start to crawl away. If they manage to crawl away, then you will never see them again (only after restarting the chapter).

Three other snakes are hidden in a hidden cave behind the waterfall. Read the side objective description below.

The last two snakes will be in the place where you are looking for two crystal keys to get into the dungeon. Two passages open to the left and right. The one on the right is already open. So when you move from the right passages to the left, pay attention to the two snakes.

Find the hidden cave under the waterfall in Decay

Go straight from the beginning of the location until you reach the steps. Go left from them. At the end of the path there will be a closed grate. You jump to the left, across the abyss, grabbing the hook. A little further to the left there will be a waterfall.

Reward : 1000 souls.

Defeat the Dreadlord's henchmen in Decay

To find the first enemy, move forward from the start of the location. When you see the stairs leading to the place where War and Strife can talk, turn left past them. This path will lead you to a locked grate. Jump over to the left, hooked on the hook. And go deep into the screen to meet the first mini-boss.

The second henchman is in the upper left corner of the map in the dungeon. Getting to it is easy, but you can only do it with a crushing glove (you need to break the crystals at the beginning of the dungeon).

Reward : 5 Boatman coins.

Follow the straight path forward until you reach the entrance to the dungeon. There is a slab in front of him that is missing two crystals. Get away from her. There are secret passages to the left and right. Two pieces. On the right, one of the passages is open. The other three open when interacting with the statues blocking the path. In the right passage, to get the crystal, first create two portals, then stand War on the button and throw the blade at the portal opposite. He will fly out of the second and hit the stone. A passage will open on the right. Kill the enemies and take the crystal key.

Get out of here??and go left. The desired stone is hidden in the right of the two passages. After killing everyone, create two portals, go to the nearest one and hit with a ghostly hook through the portal. He will fly out in another and grab a firebomb. Throw it into the growth and take the crystal. Insert both crystals into the slab and enter the dungeon.

Move forward until you run into a closed door. Follow the right, go through the fog and kill a huge enemy. After that, break open the weapon box to get a concussive War gauntlet . You can now break red crystals and bounce off red tiles on the floor.

Go down and there will be the first panel on the right. Standing on it, hit with a glove to fly up. Follow right and down the screen. Jump on the platforms. Activate the panel to remove the spikes from the ledges and make your way further. Activate the second panel and get to the door on the left. After killing everyone, charge the glove while holding E and hit another type of panel.

Returning back, break the crystals on the left. Walk forward and up through the door. On the right there is a panel that, by activating it (with a charged gauntlet strike), will create a short path back.

With the glove on, break the red crystals at the beginning of the dungeon and head left and up through the two doorsAnd. there will be a small maze. Create a portal on the wall on the left. Pick up a firebomb and throw it at the switch at the top. Run into the opened passage on the right and activate the second switch. Run back and go through the opening near the first one. You will reach the second wall, where you can create a second portal. So do it. After killing everyone, return through the second portal to the first. Throw a firebomb at the top switch to open the grate on the right. Throw the second bomb at the first portal to activate the far switch. Now run into the first passage on the right. The path will be opened even further, and on the ledge you will find the right switch. Click on it to deploy the crystal statue. The first one is ready! The second statue is easier. There is a platform to the right of the closed door. Push off from it to climb onto the ledge with the switch. Rotate the statue. Activate the two crystals on the statues with the Warblade and defeat the Dreadlord. If two of his henchmen were killed, then the battle will be easier. But in general, he is a copy of the rest. Just a little stronger.

Chapter 8

Fall through a drain into a cesspool deep below the Belial Dam

Read the description of the fifth valve below, in another side task. As soon as you go down through the pipe (not far from the direct road to the boss), then the task will be completed.

Defeat all scarab brutes in Disturbance (0/4)

The first scarab is located near the first firebomb, which you throw through the portals to destroy the growth and go to the right. From the bomb, jump left-up to the place of the conversation of Discord and War (Source). You will meet the other three thug scarabs in the story of the game.

When you climb the drawbridge, push off the platform with your gauntlet and fly to the right, deep into the screen. Walk forward until you find a pool. It is him that you are trying to empty, and next to it there is the first valve.

The second valve is located at the beginning of the Barrier. Before moving to the dam and jumping along it along the ledges to the left, pay attention to the purple springboard. You don't need to hit him, because your hero will jump up as soon as he gets up. Jump up and fly to the ledge on the right, where the valve is located.

The third valve is hidden in the stocean under the dam of Belial. To get to this secret location, look down before jumping onto the ledge wall (at the end of the dam). There is a channel through which the acid flows. And there is a hook there. Jump down, grab onto it and find yourself in a secret place. There is a valve here.

The fourth valve you can find parallel to the plot. When you walk down the long acid corridor where you have to turn it off with switches, grab a firebomb, carry it back to the first switch, go up the steps on the side and drop the bomb on the growth on the left. Light it with a cup nearby (to light it, you need to throw the Blade of War from a burning cup into non-burning ones; you know the principle). Then climb up to the ledge and turn the valve.

The fifth valve is in a secret location, in a drain under the Belial Dam. To get down there, go through the area with three scarabs. Continue to the right, go down past the teleporter and find a blocked Trickster Gate. To the right there is a pipe. Jump into it. This is where the valve will be.

You just have to go back to the pool (thankfully the portal is nearby) and jump down, where there will be a secret boss - Flea the Thug.

Move through the location, kill the enemies outside?by the acid puddles and activate the two portals on the right. Jump down to the bottom, pick up a firebomb and go through the nearest portal. Upstairs, throw the portal at the switch on the wall above. By doing this, you will move the bridge apart. There is a platform underneath. Hit it with your glove to jump up and be on the bridge when it moves. Go left and jump up on another similar platform. Fly to the left. Jump down-right on the hook and on the beams, which the character will cling to with both hands. Make your way along the dam, and in the next part of the location on the right, you will find a growth on the stone. Create a portal in front of him. Create the second portal above, near the fire bomb. Throw this bomb at the portal to detonate the growth. Jump to the right along the column where this growth was.

Climb up the hill and jump down on the other side of the acid. After killing the scarab brute, slide the switch. On the right, find a fire bomb and move to the left. When the nifelim dies, the rest of the opponents will die. Follow to the left and soon you will reach the final boss of the location. Similarly to the niphelim, if you kill the leader, then everyone else will die.

Chapter 12

Destroy worm nests to lure out their queen (0/3) / Defeat the Queen of Hearts in the Maelstrom

From the gate with three seals, go straight without turning anywhere (after descending from the waterfall). This will take you to the nearest nest. Any nest has several holes in the ground and many beetles. Defeat them all to clear the nest.

The second and third nests are not far from each other. Go down to the lower right side of the map. One nest is freely available, and to get to the second one, jump over the stones to the ledge with the platform, hit it with a glove and fly up to the right. The task will be further complicated by the fact that there will be more spheres and hunters, and whirlpools will begin to appear under your feet, fettering your hero. Use the dash to get out of them. To dodge the stream of water, jump onto the stream of air on the left.

Chapter 14

Further puzzles are simple. You need to either kill the enemies or get to the lever. At the end, you will have a battle with the War Machine. To destroy it, kill ordinary enemies and wait for the magicians to take turns attacking you. This is your chance to finish them off and remove the protection. At the end, destroy the sphere.
