Walkthrough Layers of Fear 2

Play the prologue of the game until you are in your room. Notes are not collectibles, like many other items, so we will not indicate their location. However, we will tell you where to find all the frames for the projector, records for the gramophone and posters.


Chapter 1

Climb up and open the door. Start the projector, then go outside. Move along the only path, through the dining room, deck, lower the two handles and go inside. Call the elevator and go down. Pull the lever again if it stops. Go further, take the key from the table with the fan and open the door behind you. Continue to the radio room and examine the headphones with a microphone. Come out (the premises have changed).

In the corridor with numerous cabins, go through the door on the right. Follow the room on the right hand, because the wall is missing. A slide is hidden in the pedestal. Keep moving, go through the same room three times and find yourself in a room with a globe. Turn it, examine the door, turn the globe again and examine another door. Wait, then turn the globe a third time to see where to go next.


When you hit the door with a combination lock, examine the bandage in the cage. Ceiling ??should collapse, and the code will be shown at the top - 942. Enter it and follow on. Pull the lever to make the dummy platform rotate. Go to the other side and pull the second lever to stop the platform. They can launch it. In the next room with mannequins, go up the hill on the left and remove the poster . Keep moving, examine all the doors and find an open one. In a room with several bunk beds, take the first phonograph record from the cabinet in the table.

Keep moving, turn the steering wheel on the ship and go down. Go to another part of the hold, pick up the key from the white cross and get out. Ring the bell and follow on. Get to the dead end room, unfold the board. It says to be ready to go back. So do it - go back.


Pull the lever and run across the corridors, hiding from the light. In the next room, which looks like a small office with one desk, there is a second poster hanging on the wall to the right. Go further, run past the light, hiding in the niche on the side. Follow through the wall and open the door to the room with the safe. Rotate the toggle switch on the safe clockwise to 10, release LMB, then rotate counterclockwise to 80, then clockwise to 40. Take the sea shell.

After that, go into the room ahead and enter the next room. In the table on the right, in the drawer is the second slide . In the room with the projector, switch frames so that you can see the door. Come and open it. When you crawl through the wall, then in the corridor on the left side, find the third poster , which leans against the wall. Keep moving, use the lever on the left and take the dropped key from the burnt dummy. Take the bullet from the mannequin behind the wall, through the round hole, and then shoot one of the two mannequins.


Keep moving. If you are at a dead end, you need to go back to find the wall that has appeared, and then go forward. It's near a mannequin and a table with a fan. Follow on, get down and go through the hold. The path is blocked by a load: lift it by pulling the lever on the left.

Chapter 2

Run a new film in the dressing room. Go ahead and take the camera from the table twice. Go to another room, pull out the wire and insert it into the socket on the right. Click on the button. When you encounter the monster, then hide in the room on the right and close the door by turning the valve. Do not let him go so that the monster does not get inside.

Enter the next room and use the projector to put up some pictures. First find the image of the keys. Approach him and take the key from the chair that appears. Next, select in turn the images of the door jamb, canvas and handles. Each time you need to approach the wall so that the image appears in reality. Then open the assembled door with the previously found key.


Once in the corridor with cabins, enter the second from the left and you will see a mannequin on the bed. After that, turn the board and find the inscription with the code. It will be upside down, so you will have to bring it into the correct form yourself. Go outside and enter the code on the door nearby. Shut off the steam and remove a quarter from the far wallth poster. Keep moving and go down through the hole.

Go through the door on the left, go down and interact with the levers to get a complete picture. When the mechanism works, go back to the room and go to the clock. Choose the number "8" as requested on the plate on the left. Then calculate the difference and choose those numbers that add up to the desired number. The first time it is 26, the second - 46. 26 can be obtained by adding ten, seven and nine, and 46 - all numbers except two, three and four.

Take the flower and follow the elevator on the left. Go into the room and insert the flower into the mannequin. Take the elevator back up and go forward. When you get to a dead end, then make your way through the ventilation on the left. Turn left to enter a closed room. On the bed lies the second mysterious object . Keep going through the game. Follow the only path until you pass through the warehouse. Crouch and crawl under the table against the left wall. Open the grate, go behind it and close behind you to get into the cage on the side and find the third phonograph record in the chest.

Continue on until you encounter a monster. Run away from him, climb the stairs in the distance and enter the doorway on one of the walls. It appears when rays of light fall on it. ?When the monster reappears, start rotating the camera until you see a corridor without it. Run forward. Press against the walls, duck down and crawl under the third jet of steam. Keep moving until you find the projector. Move the valve all the way to the right and once to the left. Pick up the fourth slide from the floor. Move the latch to see a square with a child. This is a grid. Follow through it.

In the end, you will need to make a choice - instinct or logic. Confirm action. You can reload the last save and choose another option to get two achievements at once. Go further and in the corridor on the left you will see a boy. Enter the room to his left and remove the fifth poster from the wall in the back room. Pass the game, hide from the streams of the icy wind. go across the street, enter the building and open the room on the right. The sixth poster hangs on the wall. Keep moving up, lower the lever and move behind the metal fence to the other side.

When the monster reappears, run away from it. Enter the house and jump through the hole on the right. This will allow you to activate the detonator and destroy the very device, receiving a secret achievement. Then it remains to pick up the next film.

Chapter 3

PCheck out the new film reel in the dressing room and jump through the hole in the floor. Go downstairs, take the key from the chair and open the door on the side. Examine the cauldron, go forward and pick up the brain. In the rooms on the right and left, find the heart and leg, then throw all three parts of the body into the cauldron. get out of here, along the way taking the key to the bedroom.

In the bedroom, examine the photo on the nightstand, remove the fifth slide from the nightstand itself. Move to the canvas on the wall and remove a small drawing with teeth. Climb onto the bed on the steps on the side so that a doll appears on the wall. Attach the teeth to it, then take the map from the wall where the canvas was. Remove the teeth from the doll and place them on the statue on the left. Take out the amulet from the box on the floor, insert the card into the mannequin's hands. Take the teeth and put them back on the doll above the bed. Place the charm on the special stand on the right. Take the teeth and set them on the mirror, and then leave here, taking the key to the basement.

In the basement, open the chest and unscrew the head of the mannequin nearby. Get to three more heads, each time taking them to the chest. The second one will fall, so pick it up off the floor. After doing this, inspect the chest and take the seventh poster , and then go outside. Along the way, find the key to the nursery. After returning to the house, go downstairs and go to the room on the side of the stairs, wherehangs the eighth poster .

In the children's room, go upstairs and make a decision: shoot Lily or kill two dolls to the right and left of the character. You will have to shoot at the left twice, and at Lily - three times. Approach Lily on the floor and then exit here after finding the office key.

In the office, find rocket fragments. The first is lying behind the rocket itself, the second is in the fireplace, the third is in front of the rocket. Pull out the sixth slide from the table. When you get to the room upstairs with different mechanisms, pull out the fourth phonograph record from the table on the left. Follow to the ventilation and before entering it, you will find the ninth poster . The next step is to pick up the film.

Chapter 4

Use the film strip and leave the dressing room. As you follow through the kitchen, use the metal supports. Go around them to the left or right to make passages appear in the walls. After the second such passage, go behind the shelves on the right and remove the tenth poster from the wall. Follow on, climb the stairs and see a sitting boy. In the room above, the fifth phonograph record is hidden in the table.

Next, there will be a segment with inverted corridors where you need to open the side doors. When running away from the monster, open the door below you and jump down. When you turn the board, thereby returning the normal picture, examine the piano in the next room, on which lies the seventh slide . The next time you encounter a monster, run away from it and see a coffin on the right. Close it for achievement, and a little further than the coffin, in front of the steps up, you will find the eighth slide .

Interact with the gramophone and move through the door in the wall. When you run into a metal fence, return to the room and burst all the fruits. One is hidden in a drawer. The gate will disappear, so follow on. In the bright corridor, the eleventh poster hangs on the wall on the left. Next, you need to use the projector to see the glowing beacon. Approach him. Take away the heart from the stones, tear out the hearts from the four mannequins. Pick up the key and open the lighthouse door. Climb up to fall down, collect some flowers and move on.

When you get to the corridor with water, you can go with or against the current, thereby making an important choice. Take the drawing from the chest and follow into the dark room. The twelfth poster hangs on the wall to the right. When you get to the ship corridor, you can examine the chest on the right. There are cards lying in the next corridor, from which you can collect the code. Enter it and take out the tree from the chest. This is the fourth mystery item .

Continue through the hole in the wall (crouching) and explore the three rooms in the cave. In one of them, you need to set the skull and the hand pointing to the right on the monitors. After that, open the cage with the rat. In others, remove the sheet and pull the cable out of your hand, then open eachie cells. Go to the cave with the chests and the ship, study the drawing on the table, then climb the rope ladder to the ship.

Fire the cannon and run forward. You need to fire cannons to light your way. The first three times the cannons will be to the left of the shot, the third time - in front, the fourth - in front and slightly to the right, the rest of the times - in front. Enter the ship and take the film. Chase James to return to the cabin.

Chapter 5

Move forward until you are at the elevator. Call him, and while he is driving, remove the thirteenth poster from the wall on the right. Ride the elevator, examine the radio room and go back. Go past the mannequins and pick up the tin can. Immediately duck down and follow through the wall. Get to the monster and run away from it. Move the projector shutter all the way to the right, then to the left and then to the right again until the wall collapses. Go to the room opposite, through the door on the left and along the left wall, on one of the shelves, find the ninth slide .

As you follow the corridor, you will hear gunshots. Open the door to the right of the dummies to get into the "bank". Remove the fourteenth poster from the wall on the left. Follow on, open the massive door, turning the handle so that it appears?There were blue gizmos. Inside, open three chests, exit back and go into the opening on the right. Once in the room, go through the door on the left. At the end of the path there is a rat in a scarf, and on the shelf on the left is a box with the last slide . Go to the restaurant with tables and remove the last poster from the wall on the left.

When you find yourself on the ship, do not rush to shoot from the cannon, but take the last phonograph record lying on the right. Climb down, open the chest on the left and go right. Follow the dummies until a monster appears. Run back and go around it along the adjacent path. When the next monster appears, just run back a little and it will turn into a mannequin. Go around the third monster again along parallel paths.

Rotate the handle of the gramophone, and when the mannequin disappears, then jump into the hole. Continue to a room with mannequins holding a throne with another doll. Lower the handle all the way down and move on to see the final cut-scenes. The ending of the game depends on the decisions you make.
